Helps Homestead is not only our family home but also the place where I turned a love for creating handcrafted decor and small-batched goods into a business.
When I couldn’t find the exact sign I was looking for, I decided I’d just make it. That sign turned into macrame plant hangers and earrings, and candlestick holders, and before I knew it friends and family were asking if I could make items for them and their homes.
I opened Helps Homestead to create handcrafted, homestead-grown items to help make your home and life unmistakably you.

I'M EVA
I’m a creative soul with a love for helping others see their creativity through my in-person workshops.
When I’m not in the studio, you can find me outdoors, taking care of our homestead’s latest addition - bees, in the garden, or going on an adventure with my kiddos. My dream is to make Helps Homestead a self-sustainable homestead.
We take pride in what we do and it’s our hope that Helps Homestead is a place where you feel inspired to make your home exactly how you want it.

Our customers are looking for handcrafted pieces but more than that they want goods that
make a statement about who they are. They come to Helps Homestead looking for unique, quality products. Some have an idea and they want us to make it, others are hoping to buy handcrafted goods, and some are looking for a way to make something themselves. But no matter what they are looking for we show up with a “Hell yeah it’s makable” attitude.
Whether we’re creating a custom sign, leading a workshop, or showing someone around the
Homestead, we make every interaction feel personal, light-hearted, and genuine.
Our goal is to have everyone walk away feeling good about themselves.

I'm Eva's side kick in our homestead endeavors. Helping with the woodworking and helping to figure out how to make it work.
When I'm not in the shop, you can find me working on keeping the homestead up, hunting, or wondering what else Eva has up her sleeve!
